Joanne can do jewellery workshops in her home studio, she only takes a maximum of two persons per class to allow for maximum personal tuition.
Located in East Belfast, on the glider route 15 mins from Belfast.
Students will be given a warm welcome before learning the skills of silversmithing, Copper will be available to practice skills before moving on to using sterling silver​​​​​​​​
You will be taught piercing, filing, soldering, hammering, shaping and texturising before finally polishing your own piece of handmade jewellery to take home.
No previous experience is necessary as each student can work at their own pace
Students can make a ring, pendant, earrings or 3 thin stacking rings, each student will be provided with safety leather aprons, and allow full use of the studio tools, including rolling mills, hammers, files, polishing equipment, letter stamps for hand stamping and texture plates
 
Price of each workshop includes precious metal and any mixed metals used
price is per person per workshop
 
Each workshop takes around 3 hours hours, and refreshments will be included on the day including tea, coffee, herbal tea and of course cake.   (Please advise of any special dietary requirements)

Safety requirements, no open toe sandals, long hair must me tied back, protective leather aprons will be supplied for your use
